What is Derick's first Malay word?
Ans: "Lagi" (meaning: Some more, again).
Nowadays he would repeat something like "raining lagi," "two lagi."...
I was quite puzzled, got no idea where he did learn it from. As we didn't hire an Indo Maid, I never ever have a chance to use any Malay words while communicating with Q.
Thus I checked with the teacher at school, she told me that maybe Der learnt it from his Malay friends. OIC.... kids could learn new stuffs so fast. I ever read an article from somewhere that it would be much easier for a kid to learn mother's mother tongue language. It was proved in Der's case, as my mother tongue language is Indonesian. :->
