Long Time Friend

Today was a cloudy day. But my son's mood was not cloudy at all, instead he was in a high cheerful mood. Guess why? Because he just met his long time old friend (YY). YY had been playing with Derick since they were 18 months old. About one month ago YY went back to her mother's hometown and did not come back until several days before. Derick has not seen YY's face for almost 2 months, but surprisingly YY still recognised Derick in almost no time. She called Derick's Chinese name, JY after recollecting her memory for only a short while. That's why Derick was so so happy. Later on, all of them (YY, JY, RR, DD) 4-kid-gang played together and enjoyed themselves for quite some time there. They are all about the same age, while Derick is the only boy among the 4 thus the luckiest one. Each and every girl was encircling him and frequently calling 'JY...JY...JY...' time after time. In the end, while backing home from playground, Derick was always singing and running along the way by himself, without bothering his Mommy any more...
